Customers most agreed on the following attributes:
i had reservations about purchase of a camera without a viewfinder; it appears these were justified; i enjoyed its portability and pocketability; i deprecate its invisibility in the bright outdoors;its hard to get an optimum picture when your lcd screen fails to show what
your trying to capture; do not recommend this camera for sun and fun photos in tropical destinations;it is also unfortunate that this occasionally leads to including your finger at the top of the picture along with the scene you desire; this occurs since the non retractable lens is near the top of the camera where you normally grip the thin profile with your fingers.
but,yes i applaud its rugged construction; it would have been better if olympus would make the same camera with a viewfinder or provide a much much brighter lcd that would not be obscured in bright light, sun, etc
i recommend this camera for gray, cloudy days or indoors.
Great for vacation
Olympus has the Zuiko lenses which are sharp, sharp, sharp. My first camera 28 years ago was an Olympus OM10. Switched to Nikon for professional photography (wear and tear), but am glad to be the owner of an Olympus again.
So far, I love this camera. In addition to being water proof, there are alot of on-camera editing funcitons that are great.
Exellant Point & Shoot, all around camera.
