I purchased this camera and started having problems right away - it turned on and then cut off with the lens half way out I tried replacing batteries and it came on and then worked only once more - am now unable to get the camera to turn on at all and again the lnes is stuck out of position and I missed taking pictures of my Grandmother - very disappointed and am unable to get a replacement from the manufactor

Great macro, low light capture, easy in the hand. It's the back up to my Nikon D200 and does an admirable job. Half the size, and 20% of the cost. I shoot very nice underwater stills and movies with the housing.
I have recommended it numerous times to happy friends and associates.
It may not fit in a shirt pocket, but the benefits more than overcome the slightly larger size.

I recently switched to digital underwater and needed a better camera. This was the one. I can take photos of fish that can swim through a straw or sharks. The underwater settings are the "best" I didn't bother with f-stops or shutter speeds. If you are a beginner get this camera and you will be taking photos like a pro.
On land, still playing with it.
fish is about 1/4 long coral size of cheerio

Real nice camera. Doesn't cause the user to tire out from using it all day. Great camera alround.

Excellent results hand held using vibration reduction on long telephoto shots.

I have really enjoyed this camera a lot. I sent one to my daughter and I think she is going to feel the same way. I've used this one for about six months.
