I've used the OM-1 and OM-2 when they first came out and they were awesome then but this camera takes the cake for me. Without any additional accesories, it will take macro, wide-angle and 20x zoom pictures without a hitch! Talk about versatility and portability, a similar SLR with the same features chould easily weigh you down. But not this one, it is not only very light but those four rechargeable batteries seemed to go on and on and on. I just bought another one to take with me where ever I go, thanks Olympus for making a camera for the millions.

I enjoy wild life photography and now I have a camera that will do it and that I can afford. I think the 1.7 converter is almost a necessity for this kind of shooting. Bad points is the slow m card. I guess Olympus has a new card out that is faster, called the m plus that I have to try. I'm happy with my new sp 570. Have taken some nice photo's all ready.

I just recieved My Olympus SP570 which I ordered since January from a local camera store in North York, Ontario. It's worth the wait, believe me! It's all I need for present and future photographic needs. Size,ergonomics and featurewise, I think this camera is excellent for any descriminating photographer. The opt. zoom and wide angle range for its size is hard to beat! I rate it 4.75 out of 5 stars because it doesn't seem to accept lens filters without using those freakin' adopters. It's a pity I might say..!
