Used at UCONN women's basketball game in Hartford XL center. They do not allow cameras with removable lenses. This camera worked superbly. Was able to zoom in and get wonderful action pictures w/o flash.
Also, took a few minutes of HD video. Very pleased.
The pic. submitted was taken from the opposite end of the court and halfway up the stands. No flash.

I use this gem for many things but mainly for a grab and go camera when I don't want to use a DSLR. I love the range from 25mm to 300mm what more can one ask for and best of all good IQ

4.Easy to navigate menus
5.Allows you to take 720p video in AVCHD and MPEG for lower resolutions
6.Built in Grid overlay to ensure photo is level
7.Built in Histogram
8.Built in Burst Mode
9.Stereo Microphone for video capture (instead of mono)

Cons
1.shutter lag
2.weird photo modes (no aperture or shutter priority)
3.Rotary knob for mode selection is fairly easy to accidentally change
4.Proprietary connector for A/V & USB connectivity.
