Great all around camera at a low price. The image quality is top notch with very little post processing required in terms of sharpening, color balance and contrast. The metering is right on and the extreme close up ability is outstanding. The 3 inch monitor is superb and very colorful. I basically use two s1050 95% of the time and only use my digital slr for depth of field control or if I need an extreme wide angle of view. Snobs will never use this camera...but if high image quality in a small package interests you, this camera is the real deal.
