The price of $[...] for a 6MP point & shoot caught my impulsive buyers bug, and after compairing with other cameras I figured what the heck.The cameras I use daily: Nikon D200 & D70, I am not compairing anything with high end systems, but have the knowledge. The Samsung is light, and fits in your hand very good. The black look is cool and covert, plus you can turn off all the sounds, which makes the camera a fun candid camera. The colors are pretty darn good, but the noise at full size isnt pretty, of course thats to me always looking through high-end optics.The 2.5" LCD screen works good and the zoom is pretty smooth. Samsung provides an in-depth instruction maunal on the supplied CD, but not in the box, just a get started printed manual. It took me a while to figure out where the memory card went, it goes right next to the batteries! The one big issue I have is the selection wheel (which I like on top), moves around when its in you pocket, you don't get the same setting as you left it. I found the camera to computer integration is perfect and disk managment is good. This camera has quite a few more bells and whistle's than I was looking for. I was really hoping more for a true 6mp low priced idiot camera. This isnt it.For the price I really have no right to complain because it works pretty good, and I'll keep it as a daily pocket camera just in case.If your looking for crispy clear shots you need good glass, and you have to pay for that.
