Comments about Adorama Adorama Metal 52mm Conversion Lens Adapter for the Canon Powershot G7 & G9 Digital Cameras:

I bought this mainly thinking of using filters on my G9. I have many 52mm filters and Adorama described it as such: "This is our G7 and G9 lens/filter adapter. It is made of high quality aluminum and will allow all 52mm lenses and filters to be attached to the camera."
While the construction is sound, the filter diameter is 58mm, not 52mm. Using a step-down ring vignettes profoundly. The product is listed as a 58mm conversion lens/filter adapter, but since it says 52 in the description, I believed that the camera mount was 58mm. Now that I have it, I have very limited use for it.
