The LA-DC58G attachment ring did not attach well when using the filters it became stuck to a filter..the connversin adaptat is still usable as long as you remember not to zoom all the way out.Overall I am still happy with the adaptor.

It allows that attachment of filters, like a polarizing filter to the compact digital camera. Not many compacts offer this. It can be used with accessory lenses also, but I didn't purchase it for that. Polarizer and UV, and neutral density filters are needed for outdoor photography.
