No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The lens arrived with 2 large black specs stuck on the internal side of the front lens. It must have been a manufacturer defect because the lens is completely sealed. I did some research thereafter and found that the defect is quite common for this lens. Avoid this lens.
Adorama was honorable and fast with processing the returns for this lens.
