This card stands up to the most rigorous demands of digital photography. Data recording is so rapid that there's never any delay between exposures in rapid sequence. I have several of these cards, prefering the 2-gb size because the 122 RAW images I get per card is a convenient number for a processing batch.

This is my third Sandisk card. The first one I have had for 5 years and it has been used heavily. I use it in my job. The second one I have had for a year and I use it for personal work. Both have been flawless. When I decided I needed another card I turned to Sandisk. These cards are a good value because they work.

In my studio I maintain multiple computers both Mac and Windows, plus several Canon DSLRs. SanDisk Extreme cards are very useful when moving image files from camera to computer and computer to computer.
In the field I can count on them for speed and reliability when that Image suddenly comes into view. Nature photography is my passion.
I only shoot Raw files and the write rates have never stopped my cameras from capturing that moment when it counts !

They sent me a new card quickly and painlessly. What a great company.
These 2GB cards are my standard. These are fast writing, durable and reliable cards. You really can't go wrong.

I've used other brand CF's and from the very first use of the SanDisk 2 GB Extreme III CF on my Rebel XT, I was hooked! I bought three more for my XT and XTI.
This CF is very fast and very reliable. Have never had any data drop! I use it for photography, but on occassion have used it for data transfer between PCs.
Make your life simple. With the PCs that have USB 2.0, get yourself a USB 2.0 card reader. The difference is great compared to a USB 1.0. The 2GB of images only took about 40 seconds to download to the PC. USB 1.0 took about 2 minutes.
Personally, I prefer the 2GB over other higher density CF because it takes less time to transfer the images to the photo hard disk.
Awsome product!

I have purchased several SanDisk products over the last 5 years or so and haven't had ANY problems with data loss or defects, including a 1GB memory stick that survived a trip through my washer/dryer with ALL data still intact!!! (although the logo on the outside didn't fare as well...)
