Fast in the camera, faster downloading to the computer. I love the fact that I've never had any trouble at all with SanDisk Ultra II, Extreme III, and Extreme IV cards and have extra confidence knowing that if I did, SanDisk backs me 100%. The supplied recovery software is 1st rate and can be a real lifesaver. For these reasons, SanDisk is the only card I'll use.

I have only had this card for 2 weeks and don't find anything I don't like about it...I thought I needed a special reader but it works fine in the reader I have on my computer.

With Digital Cameras having larger files you need larger cards for Storage. The 4g gives you more room but is still not too big (I personally don't like putting all my images on one card). Perfect size. I also have a very comfortable feeling with SanDisk. Like them and their product.

When I began using my Canon 1DS Mark III, the first thing I noticed was how long it took for the image to show up on the LCD after I shot it. A few milli-seconds with a faster card does make a difference. After success with the Sandisk Extreme III and my former cameras, I decided to buy the extra speed of the Sandisk Extreme IV. I now get almost immediate write and display, though it still lags a bit when a number of images have been buffered.

With my Nikon D200, my 2Gig cards just didn't hack it... Especially storing in RAW&Find JPeg. I was changing cards just too frequently. Having two 4Gig cards allows me to continue shooting with one, while my other 4Gig is being downloaded to my external storage.

I'm a hold out from the film side and have only been into digital for about a year. I currently have various digital cameras with the Nikon 200 as my main one. The card has performed well but I do not see that much difference between this and the III. Again, I do not shoot everyday although I do shoot at extreme speeds at time for dog agility shows and fast moving wildlife. Overall, I believe anyone who purchases the card will be very satisfied.

Lost one at a scenic overlook and didn't come back to find it til 23 hours later. Tire tracks in the gravel/sand indicated that it had been driven over. After dusting it off, I stuck it in my camera and started shooting. It's still going strong 15,000+ shots later!
The Extreme series (III and IV) are very fast cards, but more importantly, they're totally dependable. I've taken over 50k shots with III and IV series cards and have never lost a single image. You can get cards that are (maybe) faster from no-name companies - at a risk. I've read too many boo-hoo stories about those who did and the card died at the worst moment to risk it. Go ahead, shell out the extra 15% and buy the VERY BEST CF card currently on the market!

I've never had this problem before. I finally contacted SanDisk, and while they were giving me some work-around ideas, it did format properly. That was after at least a dozen prior attempts. It has worked flawlessly since.

Bought this 4GB card for a recent trip to India and Sri Lanka to avoid having to change cards at a critical moment and to have the speed and the reliability I associate with SanDisk. Although it is a bit pricey, my time and the pictures I take are too valuable to risk using bargain basement cards. I even had the opportunity to use the recovery software which comes with it when an assistant accidentally erased pictures on a 1GB SanDisk. The recovery software works flawlessly. Hallelujah!
