I have used SanDisk 2 GB Secure Digital memory cards in my Nikon D-40 and Nikon Coolpix S-600 for several months. These cards are reliable and work just fine for me. I've used other SanDisk SD cards over the past 4 years and have had trouble-free experiences. This time period includes several trips overseas where I have filled up the cards with photos and exposed my cameras to a wide range of conditions. In my opinion, my recent purchase of SanDisk cards on sale at Adorama represents an excellent value. I have recommended SanDisk 2 GB Secure Digital memory cards (and Adorama) to my friends.

Th San Disk 2 GB is great for people who want to take photos on vacation and not worry about how many they take because if only used for photos it will take up to 999 photos.

I use only Sandisk memory cards as I feel they are the most reliable cards out there. I use the memory cards in digital cameras and can not afford to miss a shot due to a failed card. My SanDisk cards have never let me down.

The first or second time I used it, I was downloading picture files into my computer and it stopped downloading in the middle. I was able to eventually download the rest but it took time and I got a good scare that I may have lost files. Fortunately, I didn't.
I'm sure that this is unusual, but cards are not expensive so I didn't use it again and replaced it with a Lexar high speed card. I never had this happen with any of my Lexar or Panasonic high speed cards. They cost more, but I look at the few extra dollars as an insurance policy.

With no moving parts one would expect nothing can go wrong, but you would hate to find out at a critical moment. It doesn't appear that I can read it via 23:1 card reader, but that may have something to do with the formatting, so I wouldn't fuss over that. Otherwise faultless.

I got this card with my new Nikon D40, so far it hasn't let me down. It's like any other SD card on the market... can't really rave about it, but it's reliable and cheap, so you can't go wrong. If you find a better deal, then go for it because this card is nothing really fancy.. just storage for the ol' camera.

SanDisk makes good memory products and the 2GB SD card is no exception. It works as advertised with no drama or issues, which is just what you want in memory.
Good memory is like a good soundman at church. You know they are really good when you don't notice them. I've filled and transfered images from these about 40 times since getting them and find them unremarkable. They just work with no worries.
Good match for my Ricoh Caplio R6

Does what a digital camera's memory card is supposed to. I haven't experimented with how fast my camera can write to the card, but I've had no trouble taking a half-dozen exposures in quick succession.

It's a reliable product. Speed said to be lower than the Extreme type but fairly enough for me. I sometimes continues shoot JPEG with my Nikon D80 but don't feel any bottleneck with this card so far. For JPG format with D80 the card is never full before the battery is exhausted.
