I am a big fan of using a larger number of small SD cards -- I have accidently broke too many of them to trust too many shots on any card. Hard to beat 100 shots worth of storage for [$].

This is a great SD card and I've had no problems with it. It writes photos to my camera as fast as the camera will take them and transferring photos from my camera to my laptop is fast and reliable. I purchased it for the transfer speed from the card to my computer as 1GB on my camera is 353 2.4MB pictures and I certainly am not disappointed. I know there are faster cards now but this one does just fine for me.

I needed a couple of inexpensive SD Memory cards to complement the digital cameras I purchased for my two grandchildren. [...]After I plugged them in and formatted them, they worked perfectly.

Sandisk Memory cards have proven their performance and reliability to me over the years. I use the Extreme III's, IV,s, & Ducati's CF and SD cards in my DSLR's. They are faster than the Ultra II,s; but for a Pocket Point & Shoot I really don't need anything faster.

Colors appear to be accuate with excellent reolution. The SanDick Ultra II SD seems to be a good partnering with our Nikons, a D80 and an S9. Reasonably priced when on sale.

I used 2 of these 1GB SD cards on a 9-day camping trip to Utah and captured almost 300 images with a Canon A630 as a backup to my D70 and they worked great. The locking switch is a nice touch. My only gripe is with the SD form factor; they're so small it's kind of hard to get used to handling them compared to CF cards - I was always scared of dropping one and losing it!

i own four of these 1 gig cards and i love them. i have a nikon d50 and these move fast enough even when shooting large raw files. i have never used anything faster like the extreme III but these are fast enough for my use. i can not see a need for anything faster. especially when you consider the price difference. i have used two other types of sd cards 1 was the regular scan disk cards and the other another brand which was rated 133x. neither performed as well as the ultra II. as far as capacity, the 1 gig is perfect. if you shoot in jpeg, can hold 300-1000 shots and raw 100-160 shots.
