I first started out with a Lensbaby Composer and loved it. It is great for still shots or any shots where you will be taking time to get the details just right. It holds it's focus/sweet spot while you tweak settings or adjust a tripod. I found that when I was in situations where there was action to capture I was having limited success because I have a slow reaction time. I tried the Muse and it suits my abilities best when my subject is moving. Very simple - squeeze to focus. By having just one action I needed to take I was able to increase my reaction time. I like the Muse for shooting concerts, receptions, and sports. I love my Muse most of all for travel photography, where my subject may be still but I'm trying to move along quickly to see all that I can see while I'm in a new country. I prefer my Composer for portraits and macro but the Muse works best for me when I need to shoot spontaneously.

As far as optic go, I have several and find myself using the double glass 98% of the time.
