Pros:
Almost as sharp as my kit, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Rugged, Strong Construction
Cons:
Poor in Low Light

Other reviewers have compared this lens to the Tamron of identical focal range and said that the Tamron was sharper. That may be true, but Tamron doesn't make its lens with a Sony mount, and the Tamron may (not necessarily) have other drawbacks. Overall, the Sigma is a good walk around lens (I hate changing lenses all the time) and produces images that are acceptable to me (OK up to 8 x 10).
