Bought this for a vacation to Orange Beach, AL. Was very satisfied with its performance. It was at first kind of stiff, not very smooth at first on the zoom out but eventually smoothed itself out.
Nice rugged construction and for about half of the price of of Nikon lens, you cannot beat this price.
This was my second purchase.
My first purchase was a refurbished Nikon D-5000 from Adorama and love it.
