As a Photographer, I like to say that this lens is not what most think. To use this lens you must understand lighting and manual control of your camera. This is not a auto focus lens. And to get the best results, the use of a good tripod is very important. I used this lens today and I like the results very much. I even shoot a few at night using slow speed settings and the images were pretty good. If you like to photograph wildlife this one will do the job as long as you do it during a bright day. But i encourage you to experiment with it in different lighting situations, that is the best way for you to get to know your equipment and have some fun while doing it.
