Comments about Leica Leica 16-18-21mm f/4.0 Tri Elmar-M Aspherical Super Wide Angle Manual Focus Lens for M System, with Universal Wide Angle Viewfinder M, Black, U.S.A:

I wanted a "Leica Lens", with a focal length wider than my Leica 24mm Summilux lens (also, purchased from Adorama) for use on my Leica M9 (again, purchased from Adorama) -- this Leica Tri-Elmar lens fits my needs exactly; and, especially as I already have the Leica 24mm f/1.4 lens, and wanted a choice of focal lengths even wider than a Leica 21mm and 18mm lens. With this Tri-Elmar lens, I am able to quickly select from 16mm, 18mm or 21mm and for a Leica enthusiast that's into "super-wide" shooting, being able to do so and with just one Leica-m Lens, is a plus for me.
