Just what I was looking for. I like that they can be quickly removed from the camera body when changing lenses.
I don't use this cap keeper for lens caps; I have no problem with lens caps. I use it as a "safety" device on my lens HOOD (for a Canon 24-105 f/4L lens). The hood on this lens has a habit of occasionally unscrewing, popping off, and becoming lost, at a cost of about [$]to replace (I found out the hard way!). So I started using a Cap Keeper on the hood and it has saved me from losing a hood a couple of times -- paying for itself many, many times over. The only "con" is that the stick-em that attaches the Cap Keeper to the lens hood wears out and lets go after a while (even though the hood is a smooth surface, to which it *should* adhere quite well). I cured that problem by attaching it to the hood with permanent epoxy glue :-).
Simple, straight-forward design. I love it because my wife no longer loses the lens cap on her camera! I bought one of these for her camera after the 3rd cap and liked it so much I bought a 3-pack for use with my other cameras.

Other lens cap holders/leashes use a relatively thin thread to attach the cap to an elastic band that fits around the lens barrel. The elastic band weakens with age and I have experienced this type sliding off the barrel quite easily. I was happy to find that the CapKeeper uses a heavy string to attach the cap to a clip, which in turn attaches to a strap loop on the camera body. No chance to lose the CapKeeper!
