No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The cap would fall off even while in my camera bag. There are ones out there that fit much more snug. Contacted Adorama regarding a return and they replied..just trash the cap and item will be deleted from bill. Kudos to Adorama. Great customer service.

I misplace my lens caps all the time. These are easy, cheap and they hold tight on the lens.
