I put this on a Canon 500/4L IS. It fits, and should provide excellent protection. I have not put on the lenscoat lens cover kit, but putting the hoodie over it shouldn't be a challenge at all. Putting it on over the mounting bolt head with the lens hood in stowed position is easy, but I don't know how good it is for the hoodie. It gets stretched very tight over the bolt head.
Low rating is because of cost for a very simple to produce item. Photographers need a break on something. The product does what it says it will do, so I recommend it.

XXX large hoodie is perfect for my canon 500f4.
Highly recommend this hood. Easy to use, protects the lens and the Lenscoat cover edge. Very happy with this hood, well worth the cost. Easy to carry if you want to use it while hiking in dusty areas.
