Comments about Nikon Nikon ML-3 Remote Control Set for many Nikon SLR Cameras, Gray Market.:

No manual was included with gray market product. Pretty straight forward to figure out on your own however. Comes with pouch to store the remote and receiver.

Remote must be aimed directly head-on to the receiver; has a very narrow angle of use. I suspect this is intentional, especially for beam interruption triggering mode. The receiver mounts snuggly in the flash hot shoe and can be rotated and locked for off angle triggering. I've remotely triggered the camera from 30' away.

If you frequently setup the camera on a tripod and wish to include yourself in the photo, this product is a must buy and wife approved. A friend uses this to take wide angle "aerial" photos with his camera securely mounted at the end of a 16' collapsing pole. If you are looking for a simple shutter trigger release, this will work, but is overkill.

I used this product with a Kodak SLR/n & Nikon D2h.

Comments about Nikon Nikon ML-3 Remote Control Set for many Nikon SLR Cameras, Gray Market.:

This accessory is great for family or self pics and covert capture of wildlife. I have gotten 50-60 foot range with it, well over the spec of 30 feet. On the minus side, the remote's battery door tends to slip off. Also, remember to turn off the remote when finished or it will be dead the next time you need it.

Comments about Nikon Nikon ML-3 Remote Control Set for many Nikon SLR Cameras, Gray Market.:

The ML3 is a great shutter release just plug it in, turn it on and you’re ready to snap photos. I’m using the same batteries that in installed when I first purchased the product. It is small and fits easily in my camera bag. It’s a wireless remote so you’re not encumbered with wires. I don’t know how extensive a range it has but I have never exceeded it. I’ve used it on a D100 and D200 and expect it will work on other Nikon products.
