Looked at all different models of Gossen and Sekonic meters and chose this one because it offers both SHUTTER and APERTURE priority (you choose one, it shows you the resulting shutter speed/aperture) and because of the CONTROL WHEEL which makes setting any function fast and easy, much faster than up/down buttons on other models. The optional uncorded strobe trigger is also a great feature. And the seals around the battery compartment for water resistance was also a nice surprise.
