This is not your average white balance target. I was debating heavily between this unit and an Expodisc setup. I chose to get this target mostly for the cost, ~[$] vs. [$] and can't be more happy that I did.The target folds up into a small pouch that can be stored anywhere. Also with the white and grey sides you can get accurate white balances settings in any lighting. No longer do you have to guess at setting and tweak it on the camera or computer. Your colors are much more accurate and true.Another good things about using a target vs. the Expodisc is that you use it will all of your lenses. The Expodisc has to be repurchased for each different size lens you have. So you have to get a 77mm for your 2.8s, at 52mm for your 1.4, a 72mm for your wide angle, and a 82mm for your telephoto. That's [$] just to get your kit outfited with white balance targets. With this little compact and easy to use target you can zero in all of your lens without fumbling for different pieces or spending a wad of cash. Use the money to buy something else.Lastly, when I was recently at a wedding this target doubled perfectly as a background for macro photography. I just put the white side up, set the rings down on top of it and started shooting. No need to bring a tent or find a white table etc. Just make sure whatever you put on the target isn't dirty or you'll mess us your target. At [$] +/- this is a perfect target for anyone looking to improve the picture quality and reduce their post production work.
Use for portraits to achieve accurate white balance. Light weight, convenient, and Haven't found anything negitive about this product.
This will take the guess work out of corfrect exposure.
Great product, right size for portability.
I used this for an all day portrait session and found it extremely fast for checking exposure (just use the gray side and look for the histogram bar in the middle), and for spot on custom white balance.
Handy to have and easy to carry. Should fit into most camera bags, even a coat pocket.
None of the three flourescent white balance presets on my Olympus camera is correct for the flourescent lighting in my home. I used the white side of the Ezybalance Grey/White Card to establish the camera's custom white balance setting, and the subsequent shots were great. Absolutely no color cast.
If you want to take pictures like a pro you need to use what the pros use and this is one of the first things you need to add to your camer bag. I have!!
Nice size to fit the picture, then folds up nicely (about the size of a CD)to fit in camera bag. The instructions were a little confusing to understand because I'm just learning how to adjust the photos. All in all a great buy!
