Save the effort
By RowVerified Purchaser from Los Angeles, CA on 9/7/2008
Pros:
Soft Bristles on Brush
Cons:
Not Durable, Poor Construction, Poor quality
Describe Yourself:
Semi-Professional
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I got this product as a part of my kit, in all honesty I wish Adorama had let me remove from the purchase, but it was a good try on their part.
Sorry but the content's of this kit are some of the worst available I feel, except for the bristle's on the blower brush, they are super soft but begin to fall out the moment you touch them.
The fluid I have not used as I have my own, however the lens tissue is waxy and less than absorbant. Tried on a filter and they left me glad I wasn't needing a quick clean. Cotton buds.... well they may come in handy some time, Orange sticks would have been a much better inclusion. The cleaning cloth also is of poor quality and texture that I fear would damage more than protect the life of my camera and lenses.

Not to be too critical, but this really is a waste of money. Nothing special about it and is an overall poor quality product.

I am a hobbyist and like to take outdoor pic. They threw in this "Professional cleaning kit". I don't know much about it but I do have common since. The reason I have it, is because they threw it in. Other wise it isn't worth the box it came in. just my 2 cents.

Worst. Quality. Ever.

Cons:
Cheap, Not Durable, Not Functional, Useless
Best Uses:
none

This pack is _useless_. Please disregard anyone here saying these are decent in any way. They are cheaper than an 8 dollar kids chemistry kit.

upon opening box:
- blower brush, bristles falling out all over the place
- tweasers, a joke
- lens fluid, leaking

Seriously Adorama, even putting your name on this trash is just.. I have no words, but then to go even further and slap on 'Professional': I feel swindled.

Easy To Use, Lightweight
Best Uses:
Everyday use, Portraits, Studio, Traveling
Describe Yourself:

I just needed something small to put in a back pack for out door shoots, this was fine for [$] The tissues and q-tips were not that great, but we are talking about tissue and q-tips here! I like the blower brush, tweezers and the cloth. Works good for me. I can also fit other stuff in the box, so that also helps out.

Blower Brush didn?t function as intended and was discarded.
This product is an insult to the customer?s confidence in ? and to the reputation of ? the retailer?s good name.

Great Lens Cleaning kit for camera bag
By Joe DelVerified Purchaser from Hobart, IN on 3/21/2008
Pros:
Durable, Easy To Use, Improves Product Function, Lightweight
Best Uses:
Everyday use, Traveling
Describe Yourself:
Professional
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A great little lens cleaning kit when you are out in the field or at home. Since I seldom use filters on my lenses, the brush with the squeeze bulb on it is handy to use to blow off or brush any dust off my lens surface. Additionaly, the lens cleaner and cloth is good for cleaning off filters.

A waste of money, unless you need a little plastic box. Better to get well-made components separately.

This kit is good, however, for many users, a guide and possibly a slightly better tissue would be good. I would also like to see a more complete label on the fluid.
