No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This is a small, cheap brush. Despite that it collapses into its handle, I'm not confident that the brush would stay clean in my bag. Definitely not for a sensor, and not much of the dirt it would get off wouldn't be better handled with some other tool (bulb blower, t-shirt).
