As an X-rite product it produces results that you can rely on. Perfect for small product work fits neatly in your pocket or camera bag. At the size or a credit card its best to keep it in the sleeve its supplied with, it will fit in a wallet (with your notes). perfect for grabing a quick reference shot anywhere. The simple detailed reference sheet that it comes with will help provide results for photographers from a beginners to pro's.

Comments about X-Rite X-Rite Mini Color Checker Exposure Aid, 3-1/2" x 2-1/2":

This color checker is about the size of a business card, so it's very portable. I also have the larger studio size card, but wanted something to keep in my bag with me at all times.

It comes with a grey plastic sleeve to protect it, but it does seem a bit fragile. Where the studio-size one is made of a nicer plastic, this one is made of what appears to be several layers of paper.

My main reservation is the price... It's a lot of money for a small bit of paper, but it does the job and it can go anywhere with you, so you just have to decide what that's worth for your photography.

Very small and easy to keep in your camera bag. Definitely a worthwhile product to have if you later need to do any color correction in Capture NX or Photoshop. My only minor complaint is that for the price the card should be a more durable material.
