These cases are great for carrying additional lenses on you camera bags or just on your belt. I have 3 different size cases and find them very useful.

Well made, well padded, top quality. I use it carry my Canon macro lens and Canon extension tube. Both fit just fine as well as my other lens. No problem fitting Canon 70-300 with lens shade, or Canon 10-22. Mostly i use this on those days when you need to take a extra lens in places where the camera bag or backpack would be a hindrance. Works well as a third hand when changing lenses in the field. hooks to your belt or use a strap - handy and not expensive.

I use this case to carry either my 18 - 55 Lens, or my 55 - 250 lens. There is room to drop in extra external flash batteries, or memory cards. It attaches easily to either my camera case strap or my belt. It is extremely well padded and having been caught in the rain with it, found that it was very dry inside and protected the lens and accessories inside. I recommend it highly.

This case does an excellent job of protecting my Canon 55 - 250 mm lens and has room for an extra battery or memory card. It attaches securely to my Tamrac Camera Backpack case or my belt if I leave the case. A very good buy and very well made. Excellent padding.

This one as well as the medium and small size versions of this bag are excellent products. They weigh almost nothing, yet are very sturdy, with plenty of padding. You can probably throw it out if the window, and nothing would happen to the lens inside (not that I would recommend this) The zipper closes securely and opens quickly. What more can you ask? I especially like the fact that it comes with an extra insert so it can be adjusted to lenses with a smaller diameter. I rarely go out with a typical camera bag, I just put the lenses I need into these Slinger bags and throw them into a regular backpack. Works great, and this doesn't advertise that there are expensive things in the backpack.

Fits the Canon 70-300IS perfectly with the internal padding, and fits the 17-55 2.8 width right on without the padding, although it is a bit long for it.

Great case for the price. Actually better than some of the more expensive. Well padded. Great protection. Could have a larger diameter. Can't fit hood with the lens that is 82mm in any of the sizes is the only con for this product.

Not long enough for the Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8D. Internal length of case delivered is actually 7.5 inches, not 8 inches as specified. Otherwise a good product.

Nice case for a bulky lens (200-400, 5.6) and at a really fair price. It fits the Tamron lens just cited as though it were made for it, which in a sense it is.

A great case for 70-200 f4 lens. Unfortunately it's not big enough when you have an extender attached to it. Otherwise its a great case considering its size.

There are a few auxillary cases for lenses out there on the market. None, in my experience, can match the quality and price of the Adorama case. It is light, really protects the lens, and seems to be weatherproof - I can't vouch for that without taking it in the shower. My only objection to the case is that it doesn't have a way to quickly attach and release it with a back pack. When containing a lens, it takes up a lot of room in a pack. The idea of getting a separate case for a lens would seem to mean that you're wanting to carry the lens by itself, outside of a back pack or camera bag.

My normal bag is a top-opening, vertically stacked Tamarac Photomessenger 7. I am using two 8" Slinger lens cases to hold all carried lenses (except the one one the camera). This greatly increases the bag's versatility and eliminates the need to dig through velcroed separators within a compartment. One Slinger case is perfect for my 80-200 f2.8. I leave my 28-80 f2.8 on the camera and carry both a 17mm and a 20-35 f2.8 in the other with a half inch foam spacer between them. The bags will accommodate any combination of off camera lenses (but will not zip closed with the 17mm and 28-80 inside - the stack is about an inch too tall). all of these lenses have 77mm filters and fit snugly into the case. The Slinger adds lots of useful protection. It is well padded, and I worry a lot less when I dump the bag down. Its also nice to just pull out one Slinger and go when I don't need every lens in the bag. Well made and excellent value.
