I have several of these cases in several sizes. What I like best is that they have both a horizontal and a vertical loop strap in the back. The loops have velcro. I like to use these cases on my backpack waist strap and they are perfect.

The cases are well-padded. They are slightly smaller than the cases that have come with my lenses. I like this. They have a better tighter fit to the lenses.

I also use the cases for other things that I want to attach to my waist strap (like snacks).

I bought it for my Nikon 70-300 VR (with a protection filter and a hood), but it fits edge to edge, that means it is not very convenient to pull out the lens from this bag. Anyway it looks it is very safe to transport the lens in this bag, because I'm a biker and this bag always shaking in my backpack, but the lens is still ok (tfu-tfu-tfu!).

Case fits my 70-300mm Sigma lens perfectly. If I want double protection, I leave the hood off and the liner in. Most of the time, I leave the liner at home, and store the lens with the hood reversed. With the belt straps, it is easy to carry an extra lens when traveling light.

This case is a good choice for the Nikon 70-300mm f/4-4.5G lens. I had to remove the inner extra padding and add felt lens bag for near perfect fit.

I purchased a second larger lens for my Digital Canon Camera 30D, and I needed a Lens case to carry and protect my lens. This case is perfect. and it attaches to most Camera Bags. I also purchased the "Bag Clip" so it is safer for attaching than the velcro closure.
I think Adorama has been the most helpful in all areas for my photography.

Great piece of gear for my camera's lenses. I will most likely be ordering more soon! it comes with about 6 different ways to strap it up to a belt, bigger bag, or shoulder strap. couldn't get any more perfect than this. the only con as mentioned is that it does not have room for a hood. I think this could be fixed if you fold down the inside padding a bit.

I have used it to transport my lenses, as well as store them in a back pack during hiking and a family trip to Disneyland. Great protection and light weight.

At the zoo with my grandchildren it was necessary to have a long lens with me, but I didn't want to carry my velocity bag and spend all day trying to figure out what to do with it. Carried the long lens on my belt with the velcro holder; was comfortable and withstood a serious rain shower and several bumps. Holds small to large, short to relatively long; I have a 105mm Nikon VR and the Nikon 70-300mm VR, both with hoods in these bags. They travel well in my camera bag as well. Worth every penny.

This has a removable liner so one odes not have to be concerned that a narrower lens will flop around in this case.

I use these cases primarily as insurance to cushion lenses from bangs and bumps and also provide convenient lens access when attached to my backpack strap.

I keep my lenses in these cases when going from warm indoors to cold outdoors to allow the lenses to cool gradually. I don't know how much condensation protection there is, so before bringing cold equipment back indoors, I usually seal lens and case in a plastic bag instead of trusting the lens case alone.

There is little rain/water protection provided by these cases in my opinion, but that is usually not a problem for me.

Theses lens cases are great protection for your expensive lenses at a fraction of the cost of some of the higher priced lens cases and I find them to even be better, than a lot of the higher priced cases.
