this was an impulse purchase as I was checking out with an order of 3 8gig SD cards, and I mistakenly thought that when they said it was made to go with my order (in the "you want fries with that" checkout window, but it is actually made for CF cards, not SD cards.... yes, you could put SD cards in it, but it defeats the purpose of buying the little cards, and putting them in a mega size wallet. Unfortunately, it costs too much to send it back, so I just kept the darn thing... maybe I will take up pressing flowers some day, and it will be handy.
The only draw back to this bag is it won't close if I put my XT and/or XSi batteries in it. I have several Adorama slinger bags for filters and they hold up better than the cases made by the filter manufacturers. This case made for media seems to be as well made.
[...] Plenty of room for extra batteries, memory cards and USB reader.
This is very good for holding all of those card in one secure places so that you don't lose those expenisve cards. Very useful, especially with the extra compartment for the batteries. Was looking to purchase individual holders for cards and batteries. No need to with this! Great!
It's hard to put and remove SD cards. Battery storage is a joke for my Nikons. I gave the unit away.
For what you pay, this is good value
I like the fact that it has numerous pocket to put card in and it is easy to carry from place to place.
It's like a velco and nylon wallet. Lots of velcro, big stitches, not exactly formal wear, but for the price it achieves its purpose and provides quick access to cards or other equal sized or larger items. Wouldn't trust a small remote control or tiny screwdriver not to fall out though.

I was diappointed with the number of "disc" pockets. How are you supposed to fit 8 memory cards and their protective case in this.
I do like the idea of having my cards & batteries in one case. Overall, I am pleased.
I'm not sure how they got 8 memory cards into one of these cases; I use Compact Flash cards (and keep them in their little clear plastic shipping cases) and can only fit four into the memory card pockets. 8AAs fit with no problems. The little tabs are nice for keeping track of which cards or batteries are full or empty. The "card reader" pouch on the left easily holds my PCMCIA compact flash card adaptor, anything bigger just won't fit.Fully loaded, it's kind of thick. Also helpful are the velcro straps on the back, which allow for vertical or horizontal attachment to the strap of a camera bag, your belt, or the loops on the outside of some of the Adorama bags.
Couldn't believe this storage case was so inexpensive & was worried about what kind of quality it was & if it was really as good as it appeared to be in the add. Well, it is! I'm happy w/it & it keeps me a bit more organized w/my compact flash cards, batteries, etc. Love it & worth every penny!!
Small but helpful - its a great convienent way to organize extra media for you digital camera
I have two of these already and may order more in the Future as they are great. I keep 4 SD cards and 8 AA batteries as well as a stack of business cards in one of them. The other I have a Micro SD adapter in it instead of the cards as well as the SD cards and batteries. The pouches have two sets of strong Velcro straps where you can strap them securely on to almost anything.
One of my pouches had a minor manufacturing flaw. One of the horizontal straps has the Velcro attached on the wrong side, but that was not worth sending it back for a replacement. I rarely carry either using those straps and can fix it with some Velcro tape so it is not an issue.
I can not see it holding most types of card readers, but I would think most would be more secure in camera or laptop bags. As well personally I can not see needing to access one often enough to have it in one of these pouches. Filled with up to 8 SD cards it is fairly flat, fill it with cards and batteries and more it bulks up to about 2 inches thick and is stretched to the limit, but still fairly light. On a gear belt or camera bag it is easy to carry and a great asset. Add it to your regular belt and the weight may try to pull your pants down especially moving around on a shoot.
Easy to carry. Lots of pockets. Rugged.
