Customers most agreed on the following attributes:
Zipper on the accessory pocket inside the top lid quit working properly after only a few months. Then, at about 1 year, the top lid itself would no longer zip closed. The sharp corners of the top lid cause undue stress/resistance as the pulls pass over them. A better design would round-off the corners far more. No matter the other attributes of the bag, when you can't keep the main compartment sealed shut -- after regular but gentle use over a year's time -- a bag with a [$] price tag is a poor value.
I bought this case to house my new Nikon D3. I find that it is a bit too small, not that you can't get the camera and a 70-200mm lens in, but it is a very tight fit. Otherwise it is a wonderfull case and I am very pleased with it.
Use it on snowmobiles, ATV's and hiking. It is a great design.
A good pack for toteing your camera around and being able to keep your hands free and have quick easy access to your camera at moments notice. I especially like that it hangs on the front of your body rather than as a backpack style, this makes it very easy to quickly pull your camera out and shoot on moments notice.
This product is very useful when hiking in the back country or at an event when you need your hands free.
