Have this on all my cams. Here's an example: I compared my 3 yo Nikon D40 with a friend of mine 6 month old D90. My D40 looked brand spanking new not a single scratch with over 7000 exposures, his D90 had several scratches resulting from normal wear and tear.
I use my D40 to take to the lake, woods, hiking, beach, and other "dangerous" places for a camera.

Note: Every now and then take the armor off and gently clean the body. You don't want dirt getting between the armor and the body.
