The product does what I expected, it does a great job of protecting the body of the camera. The lens hood that comes with it doesn't lock into the lens body it fits over and when you zoom the lens extends way beyond the hood. what is really needed is a long filter body to place it over..?..

Bought the armor for my Nikon D90 and it fits well and seems really rugged, but it is very bulky and I have small hands. Makes it tough to hold on to, but manageable. I think if I dropped it, the armor would same the body, maybe not the lenses. All around good product though.

I have used Camera Armor on 3 of our cameras and had no hesitation using on the D90. When I purchased the D90 this product was not available and so I took another. It is not as good nor does it have the same feel or ease of access to controls as the Camera Armor.
This unit also has a neat little baseplate that clips in to protect the base. I was at first skeptical, but one it was fitted it seemed such a good idea.
If you want real protection for the camera this is it.
The rubber surface is very tactile and you will soon feel comfortable with it.
A great product.

This is a great idea. However with the thickness of the armor it is difficult to grip.
Was hoping for a iTouch type skin.
Sticky to grip. Thick enough to protect.
But not as thick (about 1/8 of an inch) as it is.
Also no colors available.
