I purchased this case for an SD1000 that I received as a birthday present. When first placing the camera in the case, I noticed that it was going to be a VERY snug fit. As it turned out, the fit was so snug that the flap that secures the case wouldn't stay closed; the small magnet is much too small and weak. I will be returning the case for a refund and getting a Case Logic or other brand case.

I bought the case as a gift, but had purchased on earlier for my daughter's camera. It fits well and enables the camera and case to fit into a pocket. The only draw back is that the hole to thread the camera strap isn't too logical as you really can't keep the case with the camera when shooting pictures. Easier to ignore the hole and just use the case when the camera is being stowed.
