I have been using this backpack for about 2 years now. The straps are excellent! They are easy to adjust (tighten or loosening) and I just take it for granted these days for any backpacks. Pads are nice. The only gripe is the net that holds water bottle. It is a little too small for regular sized water bottle. I am in Utah and I need at least 2 big water bottles for regular hiking.

Perfect for travelling. Fits my DSLR and my 14.1 laptop. Highly recommended.

I searched for this bag online to see the chaepest and Adorama came on top. Cheaper and it came with a free SD. Can't beat that.

This bag was great but my 15in Toshiba satellite laptop doesn't fit in the laptop compartment. It fits ok when I remove the bottom padding strip but the zippers barely close and I feel that they might break from the force. Other than that It's a great bag. It's made for cameras though, not laptops. It holds my d40 with 18-55mm kit lens 55-200mm a large speedlight and two more lenses. It has a lot of pockets. Kata took precautions to keep the zippers from accidentally open and it's little things like that which make this bag that much better. I use it for school. I can put a couple folders and notebooks which Is all I need because I;m in my senior year. I absolutely love this bag. I couldn't find a bag that was a bookbag and camera bag but this was a great alternative if you don't need that much book space.

This backpack is great! I've had it for about a month now and find it comfortable, accessible and roomy. It holds all my equipment (2 lenses, camera body, table top tri-pod, miscellaneous accessories, mini dv camera and accessories, laptop and charger). Yup, all that equipment can get heavy, however, the construction of the pack makes it comfortable to use. I'M LOVIN' IT!!

I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to carry more than just a camera body and one lens, needs laptop portability, and especially if you are going to be doing a lot of traveling or hiking with your SLR.

This is a very nice backpack and lives up to all great reviews that ca be found online. One such review complains about the lack of isolation between the gear compartment and the top storage space, but I don't think that it is an issue. The only thing that will flow through may be liquid, but with some care that also can be prevented.
My only gripe with the bag is that is a bit short. I am a fairly tall (6'6") person and the bottom end of the back hits my back 3-4 inches above my waist. I can imagine it becoming really uncomfortable on a long hikes. This will probably not be a problem for shorter people. apart from that one shortcoming (for me) I think the bag is excellent and would recommend it to friends.
