This pack has been useful for everyday carrying of gear and a laptop. I bought it for use as a carry-on bag and I use it almost every day now. I carry a SLR body, flash, 2 kit lenses, batteries, cards etc., 15" laptop with charger, mouse and some various cables. I tried to use it with a 70-200mm but it only fits in the upper compartment where it isn't protected very well. Good pack for the essentials.
It is comfortable to carry through an airport and the laptop comes out quickly during security screening.

I bought this backpack so I didn't have to carry two or three bags for all my stuff (camera bag, computer bag, bag for wallet and accessories). This pack is comfortable with everything loaded. The straps and back are padded for added comfort. Definitely a good buy if you are not bringing all your photo equipment.

Meet expectations

Cons:
sh strap needs more pads
Best Uses:
Transporting Gear

Bottom Line:

Well designed for 1 body with lens laying side way together with 3 lens and 1 flash (4-5" long) on its side. The bag can stands on its own and it top handle is a convenient plus. Top compartment is good for snack or books while the notebook section can also be used for light jacket for daily usage. The side pockets are too shallow for practical use; it would be best if they are water bottle pouch and phone pocket; some reflective neon stipes on the front will be perfect during biking, but I can add to it myself

This backback is even better than I thought it would be. It is very sturdy, attracive, and holds more than expected. It even has a place for an MP3 player with a little hole to thread the earbuds through! Great idea, can't beat it for the price. In fact, I'd say this particular backback is better than quite a few more expensive ones out there.

lousy camera access

Cons:
Cumbersome, Hard To Access Equipment
Best Uses:
Transporting Gear

Semi-Pro
Bottom Line:

I checked this out along with the 200 AW and 300 AW while planning for a trip. Bottom line- the camera section at the bottom of the pack is VERY awkward to get to. The concept is good- space for laptop, space for all your other stuff, and space for camera. But there's no sensible way to access the camera at the bottom of the pack. If you need a way to transport all these things, I suppose it could work for you, as long as you're not planning on getting to your camera very often. I also felt the camera storage was laid out a bit odd- not really much space down there.

all in all it is a good bag. I yanked all of the foam out to provide me with more room. Only thing I have a major problem with is the single zipper on the front part. I often have the bag on the train or leaning on something and it allows for things to fall out a bit. Other than that it is a good bag. I have been using it for about 7 months. I can get all my gear for a weekend in it and feel confident that camera and laptop and other items will be protected.
