I had to return this one as it would not hold my 40d with grip, 2 small lenses, flash and 100-400 zoom. Ended up returning and getting next size up.

This is a cool backpack. It could have some more room, but for the price, its perfect. The bag is completly padded. The interior of the bag has thick padding to protect camera, lens, and shoulder straps are also padded for comfort. This also has a small space for memory cards. Overall its a great backpack, highly recomended.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I pack a Nikon D70, two zooms, a flash and a pair of
carrying straps. Front compartment small, memory spaces too small.
The general storage area is good for a jacket, a sandwich and a pair of binoculars,side pockets good for a pair of beverage bottles or cans. If you need more carrying space, go for the next size. Otherwise, excellent construction and fit.
