I haven't gotten a chance to use it, but tried putting what I would want to carry for a day of sightseeing. I have a Canon 5D digital camera and it had enough room for the camera with attached zoom lens, another lens & flash. It has a zipped pocket under the flap for other essentials (memory card, extra battery, lens cleaning cloth). It looks like it should offer protection for a drizzly day.
