Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Airport International 2.0, Medium Size Airline Carry On Photo Roller Luggage:

it is built very sturdy but a little heavy when empty. most airlines nowadays weigh your carry on and if you fill it up with bodies and lenses, it will exceed the limit for sure. its awesome for taking to photo shoots however the back is not completely flat as there is a hump for the handles which needs to be there. i think its a little over priced considering its just as much as high end luggage.

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Airport International 2.0, Medium Size Airline Carry On Photo Roller Luggage:

I recently had to shoot a convention followed by a large life-style shoot. We had to carry way more than we normally do and this bag really did make everything so much easier.

I loved how the dividers for the camera fit perfect. I didn't think it fit 2 pro-bodies very well. But one pro body and one 5d was really good. Once you arrive at your shoot you can leave your lenses on your bodies and just drop them in. I like to travel with them detached and padded. So I could leave 70-200mm on one body and 24-70mm on another.

I really fill like I could have easily put 2 more lenses in the bag if I wanted to. But this is what I carried:

5d II
1ds
70-200mm 2.8
24-70mm 2.8
16-35mm
85mm 1.2
50mm 1.4
15mm 2.8
580ex II x 2
580 battery pack x 2
Paul Buff Transmitters Cyber commander/cyber sync
battery powered Cyber receiver
Gary Fong
3 Should sling camera straps
USB powered hard drive
FW800 Card reader
15' usb capture cable
5d II Charger

I also carried my favorite should bag with one or two items with me the Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home. Just to have that option of locking and leaving this bag somewhere for a few minutes.

The bag is amazing! After shooting for several weeks and 500gb of files my back/neck is usually destroyed. I will never use my large should bags again for shoots like this.

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Airport International 2.0, Medium Size Airline Carry On Photo Roller Luggage:

I spent a great deal of time researching this product, and I can say that the time and money invested in doing so was well worth it. Not only have I been able to use it for air travel, but it's so much sturdier than my backpack, so I use it mainly for weddings and other photo shoots that don't require me to be as mobile. Quality has been thought through with every inch of this product, and I would have a hard time considering any other manufacturers for photography "bags". It's solid construction holds up well while trying to maneuver through airports, and the features are second to none.

The first time I flew with this bag the airline allowed me to take it on board without much trouble. However, on the two flight segments for my return trip, I couldn't have been met with any more frustration as the two flight attendants from Delta adamantly denied my requests to bring it with me. Granted, the airplanes were a bit smaller, and it would have only fit underneath my seat. This was quite frustrating, but fortunately the men in charge of luggage being checked at the gate were ever so gentle with my equipment. I'm curious to see what will happen on future flights.

Overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Hopefully Santa won't let me down, and I'll have more equipment from Think Tank to review in a few weeks. :)

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Airport International 2.0, Medium Size Airline Carry On Photo Roller Luggage:

If not going outside the states, go with the bigger bag. However, a consideration is that long term the US may adopt the same size as international..then your stuck if you want to fly and take along.

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Airport International 2.0, Medium Size Airline Carry On Photo Roller Luggage:

I bought this bag because I was tired of lugging stuff to my car and out into the field (landscape floral, city scapes, etc. This bag can take a lot of abuse and will still roll on. Also use it as a base station in my car to select and choose equipment for a smaller carry bag or my Thinktank Streetwalker backpack for longer trips/hikes into the filed. Just my opinion, Thinktanks's quality level is unbeatable as is their attention to detail. Functionality is superb for all of their gear. bottom line; bag meets my needs and I expect it to last for a long time. My only con is the price (no question it is expensive) but in the end 'worth the price of entry'.

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Airport International 2.0, Medium Size Airline Carry On Photo Roller Luggage:

I purchased this bag to replace my backpack which was growing heavier and heavier as time went on. This bag is perfect for everything but you will still encounter times when they will not allow you to take this on the plane which is stressful to say the least when you have $50K worth of gear in it. I yanked out everything and put it in my purse - thank goodness too because they ended up putting all checked carry ons with the rest of the luggage on the carousel and my bag had been opened and gone through. So use this bag with caution if you know you are going to be on express jets!

Comments about Think Tank Think Tank Airport International 2.0, Medium Size Airline Carry On Photo Roller Luggage:

I have tried a number of camera bags and this one is for me the best. The size is perfect as it holds a lot of equipment but does qualify for international airline carry on. It is easy to organize to fit your own equipment. I use a number of Think Tank products as I find them to be well designed and easy to use. In particular, the smaller computer case holds a lot of items that I do not want to pack and it slips over the handle of this bag, making for a nice neat package to roll through an airport.
