If you have a PC laptop with a square shaped screen that is under 15", then this bag will work out great for you. As a Macbook Pro user I found the laptop compartment useless. I have a 13" Macbook Pro, and had to remove the padding that would protect my laptop, in order for it to fit. Needless to say I returned the bag to Adorama.There was plenty of room in the Camera compartment for my 40D three lenses and a flash, and the front compartment seemed roomy enough for all the essentials.It could have used a bit more in the style department, the shape of the bag was a bit awkward, but for [$] it does the job.I would recommend it, to a PC user, but not to a Mac user.

Finally a bag I can put my camera gear and laptop (14.1)! and for under $30, it's a steal. I have my D700, 24-70 2.8, SB-900 and my 70-300 vr and I still have room for 35 f2. It has plenty of pockets and storage in the front for other stuff (charger, external hd, remote etc)
I was looking at a tamrac 5535 as an alternative and for the price, this was no brainer.

I highly recommend it!

I dislike carrying a camera bag, computer case, and brief case especially on airplanes. It is relatively easy to combine books and papers in a computer case, but more often than not my DSLR stays home. Now I can put in this case my netbook or 14" work computer, papers and a DSLR with room for toiletries and underwear. I have computer cases that are bigger than this that will not hold these items. I refuse to give it only 4 stars because it will only hold a 14 " computer. It is just about perfect for what it is designed for.

First off, this WILL NOT FIT 15.4" wide screen laptops. I'm not even sure it will fit 14" wide screen laptops. Keep that in mind, okay?

What I was looking for when I bought this bag was a bag to keep some work papers, small gadgets and headphones in as a daily work-and-back bag. My requirements were that it should hold my Canon XSi (450D) with battery grip attached and any lens I have attached plus a flash and an extra lens. Though I rarely carry a laptop, it should be able to hold either my 15.4" laptop or my 12" laptop.
I wanted to carry my camera all the time and this bag allows me to do it. It's not going to hold tons of papers, but it does hold more than a few, plus all the little gadgets I carry around with me. It holds my little 12" non-wide-screen laptop, and it will hold a 14" non-wide-screen laptop as well, but I don't think anything beyond that. It was obviously designed before wide screens became the norm.
If you, like me, want to carry your camera and a couple lenses or a lens and flash, a small amount of papers and gadgets and a small laptop; this bag is a STEAL! I was going to spend nearly ten times what I spent on this bag to get a bag that does that.
However, if you want to carry a lot of photographic equipment, a lot of papers or gadgets, or a laptop wider than a 14" NON-wide-screen; this is not the bag for you.
I deduct a star because I feel this is an older design not meant for modern wide-screen laptops. If you have one that will fit though, the value of this bag cannot be beat!

Like most photographers, I continue to look for the "perfect bag". I want something functional but a little stylish, and that doesn't blatantly scream "camera bag". This one is an excellent bag that I use every day, not only as a camera bag but also to take to work.

I can carry my 5D, a second lens, a few files for work or a newspaper or a paperback book, and still have a place to put my keys! I haven't put my laptop but have used it to take a business portfolio to a meeting. It looks nice enough to double as a shoulder bag that a guy can use without being embarrassed.

It could use just a squidge more room in the pockets - when you put anything in the main pocket or the front pocket, the bag bulges out. The only other thing is I wish it were available in genuine leather.

All in all, it's about as close to perfect as I've yet been able to find.

This is a great bag! I had looked for a long time for a bag that fit a medium-sized SLR and my laptop in one package, and this is it.

The only cons I could find: A) The laptop compartment is sized for 15" laptops, which is too small for many modern laptops, and B) It's not a rolling bag, so when it's full of gear it's really heavy on the shoulder when trudging through the airport.

I'd recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a small, tough, combo bag with lots of features at a great price.

A perfect road warrior's photo bag. I love photography and it's always a hassle trying to bring my gear with me on business trips.

This is a great bag if you have a small laptop, mine has a 12" screen, and you don't carry a lot of paper files around in your briefcase. I travel a lot on business and it's a a perfect solution for me. In addition, it's relatively inexpensive and appears to be well-made.

I just packed it up with the following items. It's really full, but everything fits neatly.

A neat feature is the nylon strap on the back that is designed to attach the briefase securely onto the handle of a roller bag. My only gripe was the 3/4" high Adorama logo stitched onto the side of the bag in white thread. A quick visit with a black Sharpie marker took care of that.

This bag is definitely worth considering if you are a road warrior that loves photography.

This is one of the better briefcases for the traveling photographer I've used. There's plenty of pockets for gadgets. I also like the easy access water bottle holder. The fixed strap on the other side can be used to attach a standard LowePro lens case (I use a smaller one for my flash. There's room for a non-pro camera body with attached non-pro lens. There are two other pockets that will either fit gadgets or smaller lenses. The front fold-out pocket contains a myriad of smaller pockets for gadgets or office/biz stuff.

Disadvantages to note: this case will not fit laptops wider than 13 inches and you can't fit file folders into the "paper" pocket very well. Up to a half-inch of letter-size papers will fit OK.

I was really disappointed with this bag. It looked good in the pictures, but the pic that shows the laptop sticking out of the pocket is not just a demonstration -- that's how far my laptop sticks out of the pocket. I can't put it all the way into the bag! If you're looking for a bag to hold your laptop and camera for air travel, look somewhere else!!
