I like this strap very much. It feels like your camera weigh lesser, that's because of the comfortability it gives your shoulder or neck depending on how you use it.
I personally use it like a shoulder bag that hangs on my right shoulder and as an added bonus, it also has a slip-free pads. So no need to worry about dropping your camera because it slips off your shoulder.
Overall, very nice camera strap and would recommend it to everyone anytime.

You can keep your camera with you all day and it will not cause neck strain. It also does a nice job of keeping the camera close to your body, for less wear and tear on your expensive equipment.

If you carry a medium or large camera and lens these straps make them feel about half the weight. I've used OpTech straps for more than 20 years. Every SLR I own, (7) has one, enough said.

The best thing about this strap is that it distributes the load (weight) of the camera (d300 with extra hand grip) adequately while around your neck. While the neoprene looks kind of cheap (cut from some large piece of stock), so far, so good. Certainly beats the Nikon OEM strap, which doesnt provide much support/comfort at all.

I was using the stock Nikon neck strap on my D200 for about two years when I decided that I was tired of the chafing. While it isn't a heavy camera, I have a zoom that increases the weight substantially. Hauling that around for the better part of a hot day really rubbed my neck raw. The Op/Tech stays on my shoulders and distributes the weight more evenly. I would buy this strap again.
good product, eliminates shoulder pain

wish I would have got it long ago. Canon 30D with 580 EX II strobe feels more comfortable than camera alone with old strap. Especially great if your wearing your camera for a long time. get it, you would be sorry.

I currently use this strap on a 1D Mk II, often paired with a 70-200 2.8 zoom. Even after hours in the field this strap remains comfortable and stays put. If you're still using that cotton canvas strap that came with your camera - throw it away now and buy this strap. Your shoulders, back, and neck will thank you.

I have this strap on my first heavy KM 7D, this strap works! When I received my second 7D body 2 weeks ago I knew I wanted this strap for it, so I ordered it with the 3/8 straps, did not care for the "Pro Loops".

I bought my 30D used, and the guy did not supply me with a strap, which wasn't a big deal at the time, but now after having it for a couple months the last thing I wanted to was drop it. I had a canon strap when I had my XT, and remembered not liking too much. And after researching, I came upon this strap and love it. I wouldn't get another one. The padding is much more durable and softer then the typical canon strap. I highly recommend this strap.

Most excellent on a heavy DSLR with rechargeables and heavy lens. Distributes the weight very evenly. Really does make everything feel lighter :)

I've used Op/Tech straps for over 15 years, they effectively reduce the percived weight of your gear increasing comfort and greatly reducing fatigue.
