First, a disclaimer - I got this tripod case as part of a much larger "package" which included a tripod and other small accessories (i.e. I didn't purchase it as a stand-alone product).

I'm not clear on what value a tripod case provides (any tripod case, not this one specifically). When I'm not using my tripod, it's comfortably stored in the protection of my house - it doesn't need any more protection. When I'm using my tripod in the field for nature photography, it's exposed to all the outdoor elements, and it's designed to hold up for years or decades under these conditions (i.e. it's not fragile or moisture-sensitive like a camera or lens is).

There are probably some situations where a tripod case is desirable but I would suggest that before you buy one, make sure it will be a functional accessory and not just something that takes up space.

Cheap price and great quality! This case is awesome!!! Case has enough room to fit my on location Silk tripod and Manfrotto monopod.

I use this bag with a Manfrotto X55prob tripod with a Manfrotto 501hdv head. The combination fits very with room on top. Zipper works great and exterior is rugged This was less expensive than the Manfrotto equivalent I highly recommend this bag

The edge of one of the two carrying handles wasn't sewn together. Once the handles were connected by velcro, it was difficult to pull them apart without ripping the faulty handle. Worse, the zipper mechanism fell off the internal pocket with my quick release plates inside and I had to cut the lining to get them out. This occurred after very little use.

I bought this for the Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod. It provides adequate room for this tripod which has a Giotto ball head. The zippers work smoothly as the case is well built. It is better than I anticipated. Lots of cushion yet light. This is the one to get. Thanks Adorama!

Nice Bag. I use it to store and transport my tripod with head attached. The shoulder strap allows me to carry with ease, leaving my hands free. Bag provides good protection.

This case is perfect for my tripod (Bogen - Manfrotto 055XPROB and Bogen - Manfrotto Improved Grip Action Ball Head with Quick Release).
It fits very well. I use it for storage and photography trips I make.

Money well spent. Tripods get expensive & I want to protect my investment from being banged around while I carry all my gear. There is also room to carry extra accessory pouches. My only wish is that the strap would adjust a little longer to carry on my back along w/ my backpack.

Easily stores my Manfrotto 055XPROB with 488RC0 ballhead attached. Interior zippered pouch allows me to carry a small set of tools, as well. I also have room left to carry my GorillaPod and a beanbag. I use this case for transporting my gear, not for hiking with it, although the padded case is comfortable to carry.

Nice bag. Wrong size for the 055XPROB tripod. There is a lot of room at the top so the tripod slips about a bit. Perhaps if you have a tall head it would be OK. consider taking your tripod into a local retailer and trying bags to ind the one that is right, then buying online if it's cheaper.

The bag that was advertised was the Adorama bag.It was described as having great padding,a large side pocket,and internal straps to hold the tripod in place.The bag received was not this bag.It had none of those attributes.The strap is cheap and uncomfortable,the zipper probably won't last the summer,and it has no large side pocket.In fact it has one tiny pocket barely large enough for the handles for the head. Be careful buying this item.Am soured now on the service of Adorama

Case has both carry handles and shoulder strap. Inside straps to prevent tripod from shifting. Large external pocket very useful
