This is a good sturdy bag, with fast easy access. However, even its discreet, casual, not bulky design does not convince me.
Its ALMOST big enough for just the right size daily camera bag. If they had made it at least just 1/2 inch bigger all around ...if only...
This fits my D100 with the lens attached, and a flash OR 1 extra lens only. BUT, its a REAL TIGHT SQUEEZE.
AFTER you fit the camera with lens attached and your extra lens, it renders the side pockets and front pockets pretty much useless because of the tight fit. However, you can slide your visa card and a few bills thats pretty much it.
I DONT like having to sacrifice the extra lens for a flash or vice versa, and more annoying is having to knuckle down on even the extra essentials, such as memory cards, an extra filter & even a cleaning cloth.
I tried fit my digital slr w/ 70mm lens attached, 1 extra lens, 1 cf card, 1 filter, and cleaning cloth ...and over 50% of the velcro pad was exposed due to the tight fit.
Its an imperfect bag for me. But, am sure it can be the perfect bag for one that doesnt require much more than the digital slr camera with lens attached and a few little extras. AND I do mean little.
Dont even dream about taking an extra battery or charger, unless you plan on sacrificing the extra lens or flash.
Bottom line - ALMOST the perfect size bag...
It reminds me of women who have to lie down to zip up their a bit too tight pair of jeans.
I would recommend this bag to my nieces who carry point and shoots or high end consumer, not a bag for pro camera with BASIC extras.
I have a Canon Rebel XTi with an EF-S 17-55 F/2.8 (the big one) mounted. I should have enough room for a zoom lens such as the 70-200 F/4 as well as an external flash.
The bag is stylish, the olive color is conservative (which I like), and is perfect for street photography.
