Worked great for a few months and then died. Pantone sent me a replacement and it died after 3 weeks. I have asked for my money back....no response yet from Pantone.

There was a very definate improvement in my monitor after using the huey. I turned off the ambient sensor because the changes were more annoying than useful. The huey did what I wanted it too at a great price. Both [...] and Pantone impressed me with their commitment to the customer.

Pros:
simple,fast but effective.
Cons:
Not permanent profile, the calibration is working while the program is running in the background. if you close it in the tray, calibration goes with it.

Price is dead on. I consider myself an amature photogrpaher. After installation the Huey screen was much, much brighter. However, all of my photos were washed out with "too" much light. Most photos looked better without the Huey correction. I currently use a Flatron 19" LG LCD monitor

I was looking for a quick, easy and cheap way to make sure that my prints matched what was on my monitor. With canvas at $[...] per sheet and at least that in Pigments the Huey was a wise investment.It took about 10 minutes to run through the setup, and now is ever vigilent.

Very simple to install and use. The calibrator is small and easy to take with you so you always have a properly calibrated monitor, adjusted to whatever light you are in.

I am an amature and my problems printing were not solved. It appears to do what is promised. Not a discernable change.

The Huey works as advertised. I would recommend it to someone who needed calibration, but wasn't sure why or what it was. I find I want more information and profiling, rather than the absolute ease the Huey offers. It did educate me in calibration, but I soon realized I had outgrown it.

Easy and quick to establish correct color on any computer monitor. Does not require a lot of color theory. Can be set to correct as ambient light changes.

I should have tried this a while ago, it made a big difference in my monitor. I have dual 19" LCD displays. This package only calibrated one of them, which is ok because I use one for the photos and the other for menus, and I don't care what color the menus are. But the menus were the first thing I noticed. I dragged one over to the calibrated monitor and the difference was huge ... oh, the gray in the menu is supposed to look like *that*? I stretched a couple of images across the monitors, same difference, big improvement. I will have to redo my printer calibration, but it's worth it.
