The CE240 lives up to everything promised by Eizo's literature and the reviews I read before making my purchase. Set up was easy and connecting to my MacBook Pro was a breeze (thank you, Apple!). I use the CE240 as my main screen and the laptop as an extension. My only disappointment with this monitor is its lack-luster design. The case is black and blocky; not too large or ugly, just not as attractive as the Apple Cinema displays. Initially, I had wanted to get an Apple display, but the Eizo's features, technology and warranty were all superior. After taking a few days to think it over, I stopped lusting after the sexy Apple monitor, and purchased the boring, practical CE240. I'm pretty sure it's outstanding color, contrast, sharpness and brightness will help me get over my disappointment.The five-year warranty is unusual (in my computer hardware purchase experience) and was an additional selling point.
