Comments about ViewSonic ViewSonic VP2365wb 23" Widescreen Professional Grade LCD Monitor with 1920 x 1080 Resolution, Anti-Glare Panel Surface, 14ms Response Time:

This is a nice looking monitor with great features for the price, but there is a color shift from one side to the other. I ordered and returned this monitor twice at another respected reseller, but was disappointed because the color shifts from pinkish to greenish (left to right)even after calibration with my i1 display2. I also had problems with dark spots on both monitors. I tried to work out the issues with Viewsonic tech support (they were great)but was unable to remedy the problems on both monitors.
I researched this monitor quite a bit and only found one other review that mentions the issues that I experienced. I really think that the issues are just not noticed by non-professional users because they are so slight, but when your working towards accurate color managment slight issues become major problems.
I really had high hopes for this monitor because of the low price, but it is just not cut out for serious photo-editing (it was nice to dream).
So now I'm going to save for and Eizo Color Edge monitor.
