This product can be used at home or in the field. It's convenient for transporting images from the flash card in the field,and later downloaded to the computer. This frees up space on my flash card for continued shooting.

I must admit, before the latest Firmware, there were some serious issues. Now all is great. Fast, and reliable.

In Short: DON'T BUY THIS THING!
I'm a professional commercial photographer that travels regularly for work. On a recent trip I purchased a colorspace to back up files while in the field. It crashed on the second day of light use while I was on the side of a mountain in Alaska, deleting all of my work. I returned it to the place of purchase who gladly replaced the unit and fedExed it back to my studio in DC. On my return I tested the unit completely and decided to give it another shot. Again on the second day of light use it crashed and deleted all of my work. Bottom line, what good is storage that doesn't STORE. none to me. never again will I use a "SANHO" product. they have caused me too much pain.
