Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have found Epson inks for the 2400 to be very consistent and accurate in creating color prints using a calibrated monitor, Adobe 1998 and sRGB and Epson papers/profiles. I'm aware there are third party ink suppliers but have no desire to experiment as I am totaly satisfied with the Epson inks/papers.
