Comments about Media Street Media Street Niagara V Pre-filled Continuous Ink Flow System for the Epson R200, R220, R300 & R320 with Plug-n-Play Ink:

Easy to install and fast setup. Took less than 15 minutes from box to first print. I had tried a no-name CIS a while back and never got it to work at all, so I was a bit leary. Color management is done using Manaco EZColor 2.6 to create monitor and printer profiles for custom ink/paper combos. Although the color is accurate in almost every image so far, the gamut of the MS ink appears to be a slightly smaller than the original Epson inks in some areas. Not enough to warrant going back to cartridges but it is noticeable in certain areas of certain images, namely blue skys. Blue cloudless sky appeared washed out in a few test images I printed so far but only unacceptable in one image. The others were acceptable if not compared to the monitor image. I'm sure I can figure a workaround for this. Main thing is the ability to use a CIS and not have to resort to a constant reload of cartridges. Maybe the Media Street pigment inks might have a wider gamut. Overall I am satified with the level of performance of the MS CIS on the Epson R320 printer and would recommend it.
