I run Linux, and they don't even seem to be working on drivers for this model. The Windows 2000 and XP CD's just crash when trying to run, so the printer is even farther from working on those. OS X isn't licensed for non-Mac computers, so that's not an option. Having to shell out $100's for Vista Ultimate is an absurd requirement for a [$] printer, but I would definitely need the remote access, and media center capabilities. And I still don't know if even that would work! There is TurboPrint that has Linux drivers, but I would also use the printer for some business related printing [...]If you own this printer and run Linux (or are even considering it), please contact Canon tech support to ask them for a Linux driver.

I take a great deal of photos. The quality of the photos printed on this printer are clear, vivid & professional looking. I have had 3 photo printers in the last 6 years. This isthe one I like best. It is easy to use, it was easy setting up and I am very happy with the results of my photos. It compliments my work.
